For more than twenty years I’ve worked as a business analyst in banking and financial services — mostly in Investments and Securities — translating between what business leaders need and what technology teams build. That translation work is where I’ve learned most: how to ask the questions that shape the real problem, how to scope solutions that hold up under pressure, and how to make sure the final output actually serves the people who use it.

HearthCode Studio is where I apply that experience outside the corporate context. The same care I bring to complex financial systems, now directed at apps, websites, and technology advice for clients who want work done thoughtfully.

I care about using AI tools deliberately rather than just quickly, about strategy over pure execution, and about digital products that respect the people who’ll eventually use them. Good technology is rarely the loudest or the newest — it’s the work that clearly understood what it needed to be.
